Service Terms and Conditions

1. Service Quotes and Estimates

All quotes and estimates provided through our website or phone evaluations are preliminary and subject to change based on actual job site conditions, material costs, and project scope. A final written contract must be signed before any work begins.

2. Licensing and Insurance

SoFlo Home Improvement is a fully licensed and insured Florida contractor. Our license number is CGC1234567. We maintain general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for all employees.

3. Project Timeline

Project timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather conditions, material availability, permit approvals, and other factors beyond our control. We will communicate any delays promptly.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms vary by project type and financing method:

  • Cash Projects: 50% deposit required to schedule, 50% due upon completion
  • PACE Financing: No payment required upfront; payment processed after project completion
  • Insurance Claims: Payment due according to insurance company schedule

5. Building Permits

SoFlo Home Improvement will obtain all necessary building permits for your project. Permit costs are included in your project quote unless otherwise specified.

6. Warranties

We provide workmanship warranties as detailed in your contract, in addition to manufacturer warranties on materials. All warranties require proper maintenance and are void in cases of acts of God, modifications by others, or neglect.

7. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your project within 3 business days of signing the contract without penalty. After this period, cancellation fees may apply to cover materials ordered and administrative costs.

8. Property Access

You grant SoFlo Home Improvement and our designated workers access to your property during normal business hours (7 AM - 6 PM) for the duration of the project, including necessary preparation and cleanup time.

9. Property Protection

We take reasonable precautions to protect your property during construction, including covering landscaping and outdoor items. However, we recommend you move valuable items away from work areas.

10. Hurricane Season Policy

During hurricane season (June 1 - November 30), we monitor weather closely. We secure all job sites and may need to pause work during tropical storms or hurricanes for safety reasons.
